Back in 2011, my family took a trip to Disney as my pre deployment leave. We got to the park right when they first opened and somehow ended up at cosmic rays cafe long before anyone else. We had the place completely to ourselves, and I danced with my 2 year old daughter to this song. My wife filmed it, and I would watch the video of my dancing with my daughter to this song every single day. The lyrics really fit a dad missing his daughter from the other side of the earth

I know it's probably just nice sounding sci-fi babble.

But as someone with a religious background, it sorta sounds like he's talking about heaven (or his species equivalent), implying that she's dead and that he'll meet her there, when *he* dies.

It adds an extra layer of passion and faith and even a little bit of delusion to the song for me.
