Go behind the scenes as Julen Lopetegui does his first day at Wolves.

With his players resting thanks to the international mid-season break, our new head coach took the opportunity to visit Molineux, to meet staff members and learn more about the club.

Julen got the feels looking at the wall of bricks with messages of condolonce and such . He is seeing how much the club means to us fans .

Bruno was more of a coach than a manager. Whereas Julen comes across as very charismatic which is perhaps the most important attribute for a manager....

When Bruno Lage was shown around I remember in the video I saw he looked largely disinterested and was looking at his phone most of the time. Julen is a different kettle of fish entirely he looked interested and was engaged. Good luck to him and to Wolves.

Wolves fan since the 70’s…. I wasn’t excited about Bruno …he was the wrong man…..HOWEVER, This is all right.

All the larger teams appear to be using the good PR of a new 'guy'. Now Wanderers are showing off. Mr. Lopetegui has his work 'cut out', to keep them in EPL Bon chance and good luck. Hoping they avoid the drop!

Nuno is and will always be special. However, he wasn't the first choice and not necessarily considered an elite coach. Fosun have waited a long time for this appointment. Lopetegui arrives with pedigree, albeit their league position - lopetegui has a very talented squad to work with. More talented than at any point in nuno's reign IMO. We were supposed to kick on. Safety first then onwards and upwards. This team is frighteningly underachieving. Hopefully the first "elite" coach to be appointed by Fosun will reverse our fortunes. Out of darkness cometh light indeed
