Risk of Rain 2 Loader Thunderdome Challenge Achievement Guide - Thunderslam Skill

This is how you unlock Loaders new skill Thunderslam in risk of rain 2 quickly. To unlock it, you have to complete the Thunderdome challenge which requires you to kill three other loaders at Bulwark's Ambry.

1. Play on drizzle for an easy time
2. Put on command, sacrifice, and swarms
3. Punch in vengeance code at stage 5
Optionally pick up dio's for quicker unlock

And that is how you unlock the loader skill variant from the new update! Hopefully this helped!

Oh my god, imagine if they added a scaling modifier to the slam too, but it messured what height you start at, and then scales up as you fall

Thunderslam actually makes Blastshower so nuts on Loader. If you have Thunder Gauntlet, you can actually true combo the punch into a slam. So you punch, Blastshower to cleanse your band debuff, and then slam and proc bands again. Easy instant double band procs.

Do not grab teddys when doing this, I was playing on monsoon and didn't know that the clones got your items, I lived, but it took twenty minutes. A true cage match

I just unlocked and think it's worth commenting you do not need artifact of swarm or dio's to complete this in one loop. When you begin the Vegence challenge a new doppelganger will spawn each phase (after every time you use the key). You just need to beat the event as normal and you will unlock the skill 🙂

Loader has been and always will be my favorite survivor (not in RoR1, but still)
Thunderslam has solidified it. And I thought Thunderstrike was OP
Although I think there will still be times I'm going to want spam the other special with bandoliers. That has led to incredible early game DPS.

You can still put in the artifact code while using the artifact so if someone wants to use vengeance while going for this skill they can. I would advise against this tho.

i think this slam skill needs a bigger aoe since it replace the pylon which you use to clean small mobs and you need to be in M1 swinging distance for it to hit

and it would be nice if it has a slight homing like H3AD-5T v2

You can actually just unlock all 3 abilities in one run. The Thunder Gauntlet challenge is pretty easy and straight forward, once you get a feel for the movement youll get it naturally anyway. You can unlock Thunderdome the way it's described here. Spiked Gauntlet just requires you to go straight through the teleporter on every stage so you reach the celestial portal in under 25 minutes ingame timer. With swarm+sacrifice+comman you'll get plenty of items in there anyway. I recommend movement stuff since it directly boosts your damage. Doing the Thunderdome has the added benefit of netting you like 10-ish items for the loop so you don't get any trouble with the higher ammount of elites and bosses in the levels

It does let you put the code in even if you have the vengeance artifact acquired and turned on. Did it earlier today.

I always set stuff to drizzle and command to unlock things unless it requires max difficulty
