In this 2023 Potion Craft Guide for Complete Beginners I start up a brand new game and walk through the basics and fundamentals of Potion Craft so you have all the knowledge you need to have fun being an alchemist ;) This is a non-spoilery guide where I start fresh so you can play along and learn, or even just see what this game is all about so you can decide if you'd like to try it. I don't tell you the fastest routes to each potion or spoil anything as the joy of the game is exploring the alchemy map and seeing what develops in your adventure as a budding alchemist (and capitalist, haha).

Come learn Potion Craft so you can get busy in your laboratory and doing some real alchemy! :)

If you'd like to see me start the game new and see more content than is covered in the guide, I have a Potion Craft Let's Play as well!

Hi, all! This is a repost of the same video from a couple days ago because the last 16 minutes of the video were frozen due to a recording issue. Thank you to Jester for notifying me of the error! I have fixed the video and now it should all be working properly :) Happy potion making!

This is exactly the right approach to beginner guides. No spoilers, which include spoiling the game mechanics by revealing the current meta instead of letting players discover it themselves. Just explaining the mechanics with no assumption of previous experience.

Thanks for the tutorial, it's very helpful. You have a very calming voice too.

for beginners, visibility is rather useful - more than you give it credit for (if they wish not to spoil themselves with a map)
Usually on the traits page, I say, 'build equally up at least to four of each, then do more trading bonuses.
I do solely trading and haggling till they are maxed, as I know the map and gaining more exp to me or visibility isn't important to me.
