Emily will speak up to bullies. BJ is planning on being a firefighter so he can save people. Iliana will pick up trash at recess. Taylen will help people having a bad day by making their day better. Maverick will donate money to the poor. Ekam wants to help dogs and cats. Sharleen will get band aids from a teacher for hurt kids. Jacob will be a vet so he can help animals.

Kid President our class has been a hero for a very special person who we don't even know. We live in Reno, Nevada and she lives in Southern California.My son helped her create a blog texting with cancer and being a cancer survivor myself I connected with her for support. She posted on her FB page that she needed to start wearing face masks to protect her immune system as she started chemo.I had my students' parents donate face masks so that we could decorate them for the young provided us with 50 plus masks, which we've decorated with scented markers and then sticker charms. We wrote her BIG letters letting her know we are sending her positive thoughts!As a class we have been able to brighten this young ladies days even though she is battling a tough illness.  Kid President, We wanted to you to know you inspire us to do GREAT things!  We love watching you and as an educator I want to thank you for helping me enrich my curriculum by giving me a FUN way to talk about tough stuff!  YOU make US DANCE!
