Assembly line, one does the case setup, one does mother board i estimate a 21-23 pc builds if you get everything out the box first for prep if not 17-19

The most I ever built was 12 in a day during the clone years (1987). That involved installing individual memory chips, ROM chips, CPUs, hard drives, and peripheral boards. That also entailed low/high level formatting hard drives and configuring serial and parallel port addresses. No offense, but you guys are putting computer legos together compared to what we went through.

When I was building and configuring Servers for HP I built 29 in 7 1/2 hours. I had to crawl to my car after, but I was pretty pleased with myself. 😁

Back in the day I would build 6 at a time but it was a lot faster and simpler in the 386/486 era.
I could install Windows, AutoCad along with other design software in only 3 minutes.
This was done by LapLink Software that used a proprietary paralel printer cable that injected the software onto the HDD.
