I bought three of these from the link back then when you made this video but only installed one. It has worked flawlessly and yes the firmware upgrade worked (though I did not see any advantage). Now all these years later I decided to replace two ageing earlier 2Mp versions with the two in storage so i pulled them out, broke the seals and plumbed them in. Both are dreadful - worse than the lower-resolution Hikvisions they replaced. It is as if they are slightly out of focus or fuzzy. You cannot read a number-plate at 30m which I can easily, with the first one. I updated the firmware to the last version on the US website (V5.5.82 build 190220) but that made no difference. the settings are exactly the same as the first one. Really odd
