Disney+ Day has revealed a behind the scenes look at the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. A lot of new concept art was revealed, and today I'll be breaking it all down!

I notice one thing that a lotta fans aren’t thinking about is “what if Obi-Wan doesn’t leave of his own volition?” If he had to race back to Tatooine after being kidnapped by an inquisitor, that’d be compelling

Canonically Obiwan is in his fifties by the time of ANH so it makes sense Ewan would look that aged already, I guess the rough life in the Tatooine desert ages you quickly

What if Vader and Ben don't actually cross paths? What if it truly is just a vision? You can have them get close to each other, but perhaps it's all part of Obi-Wan's journey and lessons that allow him to become one with the Force? I don't mind the idea of Obi-Wan leaving Tatooine in order to keep Luke safe, but I'm still wary on a lightsaber duel with Vader. It's the big thing about their duel in A New Hope. "We meet again at last. The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but the learner, now I am the master." While not necessarily an accurate statement, I think from Vader's perspective in regards to Ben, it is true, and it would not be as powerful with a skirmish in the middle of a near 20 year gap.

I want to see MacGregor in full Ben Kenobi mode, with grey beard and brown robes, and hood up, squaring off with Vader just like in the first lightsaber fight ever from the Original Trilogy!

Also the designs for the Imperial ships with Stormtroopers look really cool.

The last location art of the rebel base reminds me of chopper base from star wars rebels, idk if that lines up with the time line at all but it looks similar

If the show took place earlier in the timeline, I would absolutely love to see the Second Sister, since she is one of my favorite SW characters. But I guess that's not gonna happen, cause this is supposed to be five years after Jedi Fallen Order

I just realized that the “i” in Kenobi is Obi-wan’s lightsaber.

Hey, maybe that would explain why it seemed that in her message, Leia seemed to know a little bit of Obi-Wan. Maybe she met her once in her youth with her father ?
