The ''Happy Days'' Scandal That ABC Tried to Cover Up... Wow!

The network lied, the cast was broke, and Henry Winkler knew EVERYTHING. ABC's biggest show was hiding some nasty secrets: sexual harassment claims from the very first episode, stars living in poverty while executives got rich, and the bitter feud that almost destroyed Ron Howard's career. After 50 years, the real story behind Happy Days will leave you speechless.

When I was a chauffeur in Las Vegas, about 10 years ago, I had the pleasure of driving Henry Winkler. He was the nicest, friendliest celebrity I drove.

this could have been cut in half with all of the repeats

10 wonderful minutes tightly packed in a 24-minute show.

There was a scandal that happened when Roz Kelley who played Pinky Tuscadero was poking fun mocking Winkler and the fonzie character in front of the cast & crew. Her character had to be written off the show. Why wasnt this mentioned? Erin Moran was'nt elaborated more with her drug abuse and being near homeless.

if you can't get Fonzy's catch-phrase right, you don't deserve those 228 upvotes.

If I'm remembering correctly, the movie American Graffidi was a precurser to this series. Am I mistaken?

Happy Days jumped the shark long before Fonzi did.

All this repetition but not one mention of the older brother "Chuck" who disappeared into the attic.

After the first few episodes most of the characters dressed inauthentically for that time period, and their hair looked more like the 1970s than the 1950s.

At 16.10, Jumping the shark was way out of character for the Fonz. The Fonz was always a poser, with lots of pretence and image. The character was not a real tough bikie like the hells angels. His character was nearer to the 4 riders in HOGS.
Because the writer got it so wrong, the viewing public coined the term, "Jumping the shark, " for crazy scenarios written script writers with writers block.

At 0:57 you are showing the logo for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It should have been the logo for the American Broadcasting Company

No real scandal story here and a lot of repetition. This channel seems to do that a lot.

You left out that in Season One Richie has an older brother Chuck! Come Season Two the brother Chuck was gone and no ever talked about him until the end of the show!

Could have been presented in 10 minutes. Too many repeats in the script.

Fonzie's catchphrase was originally scripted as "Hey". However, Henry Winkler, who played Fonzie, reduced the word to a more staccato "Ayy". Winkler also added "Whoa" to his repertoire, which he used as a response to something foolish or inappropriate. Other catchphrases associated with Fonzie include: "Sit on it, "Exactamundo, "Correctamundo, and "You ain't nobody until you do what you want!.

Happy Days simply lacked relevance. Like a dessert with too much sugar. Cannot even watch any reruns.
