Apparently nobody in the comments knows how quick a stock LS7 is. Also, you're comparing 3100 pounds vs 4500+ pounds. The hellcat is still getting beat from a car that started production in 2006! Ha!

keep in mind even if these cars are similar quarter mile times as the speeds increase the advantage goes to the vette. weight/aerodynamics/manual transmission are BIG. Drivers race but as speeds increase the vette will walk away. love both of em.

I love those cars! For the weight of the Hellcat it's bad ass... true american muscle! The Corvette is an all around fast 1/4 mile and track car. Winner... Both of them!

Hellcat is a Fatcat. It needs to drop weight before it can run as competitive. All that power, weight is slowing it down.

hellcats are badass i cant lie. However this is just another example of how they only built this car to destroy everything in a straight line and it still cant even do that. you can put a huge motor in a car and boost it but if the rest of the engineering isn't up to par then its useless.

Not only does the z06 win the race but it takes the first return road and wins the brake contest. What an ass kicking from a car much older. My bone stock c6 z06 gets 28 mpg also. Chrysler might get it right someday. For now they keep making them heavy, inefficient and fall apart. GM kicks ass

Stock C6 Z06 only has 505 HP compared to 707 of the charger. Nice work Vette guy!
