I'm in Hendersonville NC. My DRHorton home is awful!! I bought in April of 2023. Many of the issues were found after I signed. They promised to fix everything. Things are just getting worse. My stairwell banister fell in, and I nearly fell down my stairwell last week. I immediately completed the warranty form online. No one responded. I called twice, including today, and left messages. No return call. I WANT IN ON THE LAWSUIT!!! Please help me!! 😢😢😢

We bought a new dr horton home in Mobile county AL last Oct! Wish I would have known what I know now. Very cheaply made!!

There's soon to be a new community built by DR Horton in Kapolei Hawai'i on Oahu called Ho'opili. There are many homes in Hawai'i where DR Horton has built. I wouldn't buy one at any price. Built on small lots, practically no yard, all of them are two story houses, limited color schemes, and pricey as hell. Not to mention the stupid homeowners associations crap. Fun fact, the land that it's building on was all sugar cane fields. The ground is saturated with pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and who knows what. Bodies were dumped after they were redrumed.

D.R Horton has a class action law suit in Louisiana for DANGEROUS builds btw. I would rethink your choice!!

All the "semi custom" home builders are crap. Simply people with connects buying up farmland and throwing up houses. They use the cheapest labor. One person pulls contracts all other workers onsite under him you guessed it cheap labor often unqualified in the process of home construction. They all have bad raps. Read the reviews. We used to do the warranty for these builders in Texas and have seen it all. They would.tell us cover it up till their warrants expires. Paint it caulk it whatever you have to do to cover it up. Their subs also steal materials to do side work and under bid the industry shorting on what available to build with. Ohh is it allaking sense now?

living in a DR Horton house in Texas right I'm only renting. So, after the one year contract is completed, I will still have a choice of whether or not to continue living here. It was built in 2020 or 2021, can't remember.

What I have noticed though is that every time the air conditioner turns off and on, there is this clickity clack sounds. It's no big I don't believe it's normal.

Also, I've noticed some running cracks on the wall from the ground to the ceiling along some corners of the house. Dont know why those are there but I don't believe that's normal either?? 🤔

I bought a brand new dr Horton smart home hired a third party inspector. And my home is completely fine and enjoying it don’t let some crap from poor construction management scare you. Before you buy or move into any home inspect everything make sure it’s working properly

This happens to all builders in high humidity areas that build all wood houses. This reel is stupid. All houses in every state should be built with block. If its not, the house is trash.

Easy math they make billions and loose 200 million or less in the class action. They know exactly what they are doing.

But who is responsible for the final inspection of the homes? Please don't tell me themselves
