CATTLEYA · Blc Young Kong 'Green'

I had the plant since January... and the previous two blooms to open for me in October and November were short-lived; they didn't even last 24-hours. Since, I moved the plant to where it received a bit less sunlight and kept it on the dry side.

The perfume is a powerful lemon... and the bloom is 6-inches+ (15.5 cm) wide.

I still think I may give my catts a little too much water especially this time of year - but sun? I remember sun from a long time ago (teehee). Great bloom - hope this one last better. Have a great holiday/Christmas - the diet starts in January!

That's the perfect cattleya bloom. Still has a shape even though its petals and sepals are frilly.
