When I unlock the doors why ring lights not coming on??? But sometimes coming on. Sometimes came on after week then stop again why not coming on all the time when I unlock the car ???

I have the 2020, major disappointments are..
No remote start
No remote trunk close
foot trunk open/close doesn't always work
My 2017 Durango had more features.

Will pressing the tailgate button again close the tailgate? I have a brand new 2022 and the tailgate will only open with the key fob.

My 2008 model 3 series had the same functions on its Key. Nothings changed besides the data it now carries.

The difference is on the New smart keys on 2019 and onwards for the 7 series.

You did not show that when you pull the top of the key fob apart, you can use that key to get into your car if your car is locked and the batteries in the key fob are depleted and they KF will not work.

Missed a few critical functions of the fob, like how to get in and start the vehicle when the fob is essentially dead.

Press the BMW lock button 3 times on your remote and it will start the car engine by itself!.. I own a 2019 BMW 330i.
