The editing aesthetic is the same, but you can tell how much it's advanced and improved over the years

I love how you can just vibe to the music and not really think about its words, or you can read into it and find that it’s actually a lot deeper than it first appears

I had forgotten how incredibly smooth this man's voice was. We missed you Bill Wurtz! Anyway, see you in 3 years

one thing I don't often see complimented about Bill's work that I'd like to highlight is the audio production quality. Mixing and mastering your own stuff can be a tough ask but with Bill's songs I can hear every layer and every little intricacy with perfect clarity

Man single-handedly created an entire new genre of music/entertainment with SIMPLY his imagination. Genius.

Seeing bill wurtz go 3D is like seeing a reboot of one of your favorite childhood shows

Bill Wurtz has the unparalleled ability to make music that you can both completely turn your brain off to and simultaneously requires your full attention. It's legitimately impressive

The entire song is so nice and soothing and amazing but 1:23-1:43 and 2:31-2:51 truly do it for me, I love this

I love how your music is instantly recognizable as Bill Wurtz and unlike anything anyone else makes, with its own distinct style, yet you manage to make each song very different at the same time. :)

2:21 "I don't have any skills"

- Bill Wurtz; singing, writing, playing several instruments and animating this all by himself

I love how this can be applied to my life either as existential crisis or nonsensical fun depending on my mood at any given moment.

We don’t deserve this man. He chose to use his ungodly talents to make the greatest “I’m not dead” channel update vid ever.

leaves for two years and comes back with barely a word, leaves for 3 weeks and comes back with a song called "where I've been"
I love this guy
edit: I know it's just the title of the song, I'm just pointing out that at first glance it looks a bit amusing

I do hope Bill is going alright after all this time. These lyrics kinda show another side to Bill that can’t always be seen behind his music.

I don't know why, but I relate so much to these songs. They just give a feeling of familiarity like they're breaking down my own random thoughts in their verses or something.

this guy is insane. not only did he make the single most popular history of the world video on youtube, but he also has an incredible talent to sing, entertain people, and animate. he definently deserves more views on these music videos and not just on his history videos. his ability to make these amazing animated songs and include jokes in them is insane. keep it up man

I thought this would be what happened over his time between “might quit” and “here comes the sun” and why he left, then I remembered bill’s unique style of videos and music.

It's rare to see something new from an artist and immediately feel like it's their best work, but I feel that with this song.

Only Bill Wurtz can rhyme “day” with “day” and then rhyme it with “day” again in the same phrase and it’ll still sound okay.

interesting initially in the song, the "day by day things get pretty good" sounds bitter, but at the end "each one of those times was a good time" sounds genuinely happy
