MP40 gets hot as hell. My grandpa pot had one. I remembered as a kid he’d make us wear leather gloves to shoot it. I also have a nasty scar on my arm from the barrel.😅

I got to fire an MP40 at the gun store in Vegas years ago. I'm a big ww2 nerd and as he handed me the gun I remembered reading a book of German War stories & in one a soldier described how the troops came to love the MP40 quickly one they figured out that pulling down on the magazine slightly while firing helps the recoil. I put that memory to use and impressed the range guy with my accuracy that day (despite being a 🇨🇦 tourist lol) 😁. I'd have to say I'd go with the classic 😅
