I always love Pastor Rogers' messages and this one is no exception but I have heard so many teach that it says "'in' all things, give thanks" not "for" however in Ephesians 5:20 it says "Giving thanks always and for everything..." So in my humble opinion I believe we are to give thanks "in" and "for" all things. As a child of God we can trust that "all" things God will use for good irrespective of our perception and understanding. God is love and all He does is from that love.
