Great talk. I’m 62, retired, and receiving my pension, and I've been using a credit card responsibly for over 30 years. I've bought, rented out, and sold around four homes and still own two properties, along with two cars and solid savings. So, the belief that credit cards are inherently bad doesn’t ring true for me. A huge portion of Debt today is because the Wealthy of the world borrow against their assets in order to avoid paying Taxes. This, of course, maintains their Wealth. When the consumer public is asked(Told) to bail out the Financial systems debt, what it's doing is bailing out the Wealth holders so as not to have to pay back their outstanding money debt. The little guy always gets screwed and doesn't even know it.

I have found that everytime you make a little to start climbing out of the hole, the "wack-a-mole" hits you on th ehead and kocks you back down. Car expense, medical expense, tax expense or any other expense, you try all you said to climb out of the hole but you get knocked back down continuously.
