“All I have to do is not quit for one more day.” Most relatable sentence I’ve ever heard😂

This will be a novel but this is really cool.. I started listening to you in 2018 when I developed SEVERE panic attacks. I was working a miserable 8-5 job in a depressing field, I was in and out of college, really just not going anywhere. I didn't see my self anywhere in 5 years at the time. I was intrigued by "go after the life you want" because I really wanted to but at the time I was NOT going after it and I didn't even know how! Between 2018 and 2019 I just focused on getting rid of the panic attacks by exercising, eating healthy, drinking more water, and forcing myself to drive long distances. I was lucky and was able to completely stop the panic attacks, so now it was time to get my life together. As I kept listening to your show, more and more manifested. I didn't really understand a lot of what you were saying because I didn't have much to apply it to, but you seemed so organized and put together so I kept feeding my subconscious. Well, in 2020 I had manifested that I would become a real estate agent ! I realized I've always wanted to be a realtor but thought I was not a sales person, so I made myself believe I couldn't do it. Well one day i just told my negative thoughts to shut up and I began my real estate course! In October of 2021 I got my real estate license, quit my 8-5 miserable job in at the beginning of the 2nd quarter of 2022, and got a part time job to pay the bills while I get good at real estate! I switched brokerages in May 2022 and I am on FIRE! Everything you've taught over the years, I am now able to use and it makes sense! The person I used to be would have no idea what to put on the win list except doing the dishes or some typical adulting thing. Now, I have things I want to do that matters now and also matters in 5 years or more. I understand that whatever I do now will pay off in the future so I have to take those steps.

Long story short, your channel really helped me. 😆 cheers to going after the life we want 🥂!

I loved your point about others telling us what is important to them but aren't for us. I'm definitely going to try this today. I also had a baby at the end of March, and I find that I'm doing stuff for everyone else but not myself. I don't want to end up being one of those bitter mums that resent their family, so the last month I have been working on prioritizing stuff each day for my goals.

I love this! I feel like once I've accomplished the tasks to "win the day, " this leaves me with more motivation and momentum to get other, less important things done from the list too. Or relax and bask in the feeling of winning the day :)

I love this. I received a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis this fall. I did not really know what that was and it has been kicking my butt. I really needed this strategy. I have been thrown for a loop, can't get my day together or get my head on straight and this is just so awesome. You my dear are adorable. Thank you sweetheart!

So... I've started an upper position in a workplace where I was like an intern, my job was to learn to do the job. Well, who previously were my "teachers" aren't coping very well with me now being their "equal" and to be honest, as I feel a "newbie", in many ways it's difficult for me too. Specially there's one of my colleagues who insists on organizing my day or me reporting to her what I plan to do. She really needs to back off, and I guess I should tell her. Basically, "others telling us what is important to them but aren't for us" really resonated with me. Thank you, Amy.

I surprised myself by filling 2 96 gallon cans with yard waste for pick up. It didn't make my yard look a lot better, but it was a step in the right direction. I think my list will be 6 things because I have 6 parts to my life. I don't think "clean the garage" is a good choice because it's too big. But, drop off hazardous waste items (paint, auto fluids, batteries, etc.), is an achievement and do-able.

This is perfect for me to ensure a productive day! My ADHD regularly has me jumping around through multiple tasks every 10 minutes.

I'm good at big picture thinking but I spend too much time thinking. 😆
A daily win list is just what I need to cut to the chase and just start doing stuff!

This is FAB and cuts through the myriad of trifling stuff I feel surrounded by - thanks so much Amy! You're so inspiring - even more so as you have a gorgeous wee one too. 💕

a great idea. im going to try it, 5 things to win the day, I like the simplicity. maybe you are right, , we dont need to work on more than 5 things each day. Working in terms of our capacity is a good approach

Meditation is often misinterpreted as stopping thinking. That's incorrect. When meditating you learn to differentiate between you-thinker and your thoughts. The problem is that we are used to identify ourselves with our thoughts and fall into automatic reacting mode. In other words we are overwhelmed with thoughts and emotions and let them control us by coming up again and again. In meditation you observe your thoughts coming and going and start to realize you-the thinker are not your thoughts, that there is a gap. When you distance yourself, you can stop reacting in the usual way and instead make other choice. So in meditation you don't stop thoughts but observe them, detach yourself from them and then gain the ability to control them
