Say what you want about Pelosi, but at least she kept her side inline and get things done. That's a real leader. The current speaker just let people run all over him.

Retiring Congressman Patrick McHenry says the dysfunction is a result of members on both the far-right and far-left. There is no member on the left who compares with the anti-Constitutional, obstructive actions of those on the right. 'No comparison at all. I'm now remembering the quote by MTG: "If I were in charge [on Jan. 6], there would have been more people and more guns."

Every House Republican must be voted out of office this November.

Note: Nancy Pelosi had the exact same margin and lead the House to pass substantial legislation

This doesn't look good for House GOP members running for reelection or people trying to replace retiring GOP members. If the GOP loses majority in both the House and Senate, trump (IF he can get elected) will have a massive uphill climb for 4 years not to mention he would be a lame duck President.

If a registered republican, but I'm voting BLUE straight down the line until there is no further mention of MAGA...

It’s not only that some members are loud and flamboyant, GOP leadership gives them seats on important committees.

To have a "brain drain" you need to first have people with a brain

One option wasn't mentioned that I heard someone else give, what is the possibility that some of the moderate republicans might switch and thus instantly give the Democrats the majority?

Why is Majorie Taylor Green the first person that comes to mind! She is just toxic everywhere!

House Republicans should be facing a wave of criminal indictments if Merrick Garland had a spine.

They should exit now and give Democrat the majority

The Speaker can always compromise across the isle. For Democracy to work there has to be good faith efforts to resolve issues and compromise.

Most all the funding for the Republican party is going to pay Donald Trump's expenses. I'm not seeing where they're going to get campaign funds for all the different GOP candidates across the nation.

Sharing power is how democracy works; without that, we have something else.
