As an American living in England in the sixties and seventies I bought my first hip "outfit" on Carnaby St. When I first turned the corner the magic of the era hit me right in the face. The shops were full of colorful outfits, people walked around star gazing. Fashion was making a statement. Being here was a dream. I couldn't wait to go to school the next week wearing my newest fashion. But looking at the street today, through your eyes, doesn't bring back the magic of the 60's. That type of fashion has "lost" its way and the street appears to have lost its personality. Really a Levis store is not trendy fashion. Sadly this is just another London Street with retail shops.

I read alot of "Rock History" books, especially the Stones. Thank you so much Sinead for this particular tour because in the books I've read, your stops were mentioned in the books. Now I can imagine where these historical spots are and what they look like without "jumping the pond." I love all our tours, but this one ROCKED! You are so knowledgeable.

Sinead - you are a rock star - such a gifted story teller and wonderful steward of history! What I'm most impressed with is your ability to speak without umms and ahhs and you knows. So many wannabe guides stammer and stutter and ruin the presentation because they haven't invested the time to practice their craft. Hope to meet you in August when we visit London for the first time.
