I just realized the arm that goes down Skye’s throat is the stalker from the beginning of the movie. You can tell by the acne on his arms.

Everything was fake after Meeting with Morris and the backup dancers sticking their hands down Skye's throat. In the first film, it is stated that each victim lasts four days to a week. And Morris tells Skye she's running out of time since she's on her third day. The demon prob realized Morris could defeat it, so it ensured Skye was hallucinating from onwards until her performance on stage.

Crazy to think that if Skye took Morris's help the first time this scene would have never happened. The Entity got scared once he told her how to beat it and that was her downfall. I think in Smile 3 it will try to get somebody from the concert to curse Morris to try to stop him from telling people how to beat it.

It’s interesting how powerful the entity is. It can read minds which allows it to know exactly how to torment someone as well as know how the host perceives other people in their lives. It also sees the future.

It makes me wonder if the way to defeat it would work the same way it does against Pennywise: as long as you don’t fear it, you can take its power away.
