Hot 8 Brass Band cover Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”, filmed in Brighton’s North Laines.

Taken from their 2007 album ‘Rock with the Hot8’ this band continue to produce highly energetic music, blending hip-hop, jazz and funk styles with their signature New Orleans fat brass sound.

The video coincides with the band's 20th Anniversary and Tru Thoughts' first ever set of official remixes for their iconic “Sexual Healing” cover.

This New Orleans style cover of the stone-cold classic - originally released on vinyl on the back of a club play (in a Quantic DJ set), has been featured in Sex Education: Season 2, 'Music from Sex Education: Season 2 (2020)', the 2014 film "Chef" by Jon Favreau, both distributed by Netflix.
