A POV skiing tour of Winter Park | no talking, no music

A POV skiing tour of Winter Park Ski Area. Winter Park was looking especially scenic on this day (is it more scenic than Keystone, Crested Butte, Telluride, Aspens? well, we could debate that endlessly). We’ll start in the Winter Park area, then we will move on to Vasquez Ridge, followed by Mary Jane, and finally to the Panoramic Express/Parsenn Bowl. We will cover the Cirque, Eagle Wind, and the Park in a future video or two. I tried to provide new views in each run, but I filmed over 2 hours of ski trails at Winter Park this day so runs not used will be in later videos. I figure these videos can be used for trail intel or background skiing ASMR. I'm working on getting POV skiing right and will continue to film them at different mountains and of different lengths. Run data was taken from the Slopes app using my iphone for the GPS data.

Colorado Plankers: When I first started youtube I made skiing videos and offroad videos. The offroad content took off so that became an offroad/overland channel (Colorado Mallcrawlers). However, I love skiing as much as I love exploring Colorado in my Jeeps. Colorado Plankers is my attempt to bring my skiing knowledge (years of being regarded as an excellent ski instructor) and my love of videomaking to an audience that is into skiing. I'm sitting in Granby getting ready for my first time skiing in the West. If I said I was nervous I wouldn't be lying. I'm from New Hampshire and I drove across the coutry to do this. Your video was so helpful in building my confidence by seeing what I was getting myself into. You have a real talent for this and I enjoyed the no music no voice track, it allows me to absorb the details and the heading regarding the trails were also very helpful.
