Padme was dead and connections to everyone he knew were gone. Even if he wanted to do anything, I doubt he would want to ruin his spot in the Empire since he had nothing left. His depression probably made him feel hopeless and that no matter what he did it wouldn't matter. I think the reaction he had was justified.

Ive just realized something. If the Clone Troopers got Phase 3 Armor how did they see? On Star Wars Rebels Rex obviously hated the Stormtrooper armor but can’t see on the helmet. How can the CTs aim precisely using ST Helmets? Did they wanted back their Phase 2 Armor? Or just said nothing?

Vader should of force chocked the emperor. Then mid chick palpatine should of use force lightning on Vader and told him to remember his place. That would of been hectic.
