after using it for 2 weeks, these are my tips. 1. when mapping it is easier to drag it around on a cardboard 2. after mapping make sure to push it back to the charger base before start the first mow. 3. trim the blade guard to get wider cut. 4. make sure to clear out obstacles and dust the camera before task. My two wishes was track drive and actual mow blade not flimsy razors.

4:27 - You're actually lucky you got past this part. Go read the amazon reviews, where numerous people complain that they had to move the base 4, 5, 6 or more times over the course of two days, to finally make the signal gods happy. It would constantly say the signal was fine, then it "became weak". My guess is it's locking on satellites that then go behind a tree or something, losing the signal.

I've also read one review that said it was very common for the Blade to be 10 feet off from where it thinks it is. So it would try to dock, for example, and not be able to find it because it was no where near where it thought it was.

I'm also looking at the Luba, which has AWD. I think for nearly $3k, however, I'm going to wait until more people buy it and the kinks are ironed out.

Jeff, great review! Why did it get stuck at 8:25? Also I can't believe those front wheels are efficient. Since it's not AWD the front wheels should just be casters that spin freely like the Landroid. And the price? Well, it better be 100% ready to go with no bugs. At least you have 30 days to decide if you want to keep it or not.

I would love to have one if it's able to realize what's in front of it and doesn't constantly jam. I pay a man $40 to mow my lot which is 1.25 acre. I've always had trouble with my riding lawn mower battery being dead when I would go out to use it. Maybe this one still has some kinks to work out. It looks like it works similar to the iRobot vacuums in the house. This would be something that you'd have to use often in order to keep the height down and prevent jams. What does it do with the grass cuttings? It throws it into a bag behind it?

Isn't the idea of mowing and trimming the yard "Getting Exercise"? 🙂

This mower is not visually pleasing like the Luba. This one looks like a Decepticon. I hope Black Friday brings some discounts. Good video.

I know it's impossible because of the technology BUT at $400, maybe a good buy. 👍

If you have trees or curbs this will not work. I have mapped mine 9 times. It will not return to the base station.

Great video! I have the Landroid also and was thinking about getting the Segway Navimow! Will they send you one for review? Thanks

From what I have seen, this thing gets stuck pretty easily and has zero hill climbing ability. I bought a Mammotion Luba instead and it is much better. I have ruts and hills in my yard approaching 40deg and Luba goes about its business like there are no hills at all.

How does it work with dog poop? Does it come with any or do I need to get my own?
