This song is 'gold'..my dad grew up listening to Hank Locklin and singing his songs....and then introduced us to Hank Locklin...such beautiful people, such beautiful voices and beautiful songs. ..I'm grown up now but I still listen to this lovely song that brings back beautiful memories and yes a tear to my eye ...

said of Hank Locklin: "His lovely

Lawrence Hankins
Locklin was born
in McLellan, Florida, (a village so small it was not even
shown on most
maps), in 1918.
He died at age 91,
in 2009. My favorite song he
recorded was the
old Bing Crosby
standard: WHERE
THE BLUE OF THE
NIGHT MEETS THE GOLD OF THE
