YAELTEX v2.1 - Mini Elements + smaller grid for your CUSTOM MIDI CONTROLLERS

Our custom controller system is designed to grow in software, hardware, and features, based on community feedback and our development experiments. Today, we are happy to present the Mini Elements upgrade to the framework. We designed them focusing on portability and quality, so we kept using our selected components and design processes.

v2.1 includes:
- Mini Elements
- Firmware v0.21

I will buy one with smooth endless encoders. Detent is a rotary switch. Smooth is for performance. If you map a controller to a synth you don’t want detent when you change a filter or a envelope. It’s nice for a synced LFO. Osc shapes etc.
Just pick a random synthesizer and count how many rotary knobs are smooth vs switch. You need to offer both to be able to feel you’re controlling sound using software. Thank you.

the idea with the mini elements is fantastic, are you also working on mini-rotary knobs? that would be the upper hammer. Either way, I'll put my controller together in the summer i think ;)

just found out about this a few hours ago and sold on getting one already! im just wondering though, will there ever be "mini mini" elements at some point in the future? like a single strip of 8 square RGB buttons, or a single strip of 4 long RGB buttons, instead of the double rows? if so, i might wait a bit since single strips would suit better for what i have in mind, but if not then thats ok, i understand theres probably a point where you cant offer too much customisation since it would make things more complicated and expensive to manufacture
