Understanding Cisco Unified Communications Manager Licensing

In this video I explain CUCM licensing at a high level and then go into the system to see how the licenses are actually applied to the system. There is a lot of confusion between CUWL, UCL Enhanced, UCL Enhanced Plus, Basic and Essential licensing. My hope is that this helps clear some of it up. This video is based on a CUCM 12.5 system using smart licensing rather than the 11.5 and older Prime Licensing Manager (PLM). Either way the key points here are valid on both platforms.

So quick question does smart flex license work on 11x i would guess it would be via plm, or it has to be 12x, in other words can you have term based licenses in 11 or perpetual licenses are the only option
