Excellent overall introduction, thanks for making it. But I would not agree to the "users are stupid statement" @ 16:00 - especially if you the program asks for a "No" but checks for a "no" ;) - The book "why software sucks" by David S. Platt is quite a good read regarding this topic. But nevertheless a good series. I would have loved to see your solution to the "missing centre"-problem. My approach would have been to switch from rgb to hsl and check for similar hue values.
