Here’s the thing about that Hollywood game. On their Kickstarter and the explanation they call them “spies, ” instead of “communists.” And says they’re adding “propaganda” to the films. Which is kind of weird. Historically, these were communist/-ish American artist adding things like civil rights, diversity, women, sex, complex stories, and other things that defied the rigid film codes. Calling them spies makes the game less satire about McCarthyism and kind of makes it propaganda against old Hollywood.
