I’m enrolled in IT course in coursecareers, i’m in job hunting section, currently live in UK and i’m not allowed to work yet, so i applied in volunteer tech support assistant, they asked about my experience in tech and i told them everything i did in the lab and told them that i had experience by doing the labs so i was accepted, so i’m gaining both experience and Coursecareers certificate, by the time i get work permission i’ll apply for jobs with a certificate and experience in my CV, thanks josh for making the course.

Josh I’ve been watching your videos for awhile and this one really motivated me to get out of my analysis paralysis and start getting some actual work done on making myself a worthy candidate for a future in tech. The purpose of a certification is to get a job that you are otherwise not qualified for. if you don't have actual experience in a field, a certification can help a hiring manager pretend like you do...

I am graduating from associate in cybersecurity in December, got CCNA, AZ900, SECURITY+ And vmware VCTA. I'm planning on getting my bachelor's degree and planning on getting at least 2 more certs (gcia and cissp, possibly ccsk). Hope to get a job.😢
