I work in warranty repairs for Lenovo and HP laptops and Desktops. I tell you, the amount of times I held my breath everything I ordered a new screen or motherboard. Sometimes you can wait up to a minute before seeing a display. And yes, I can confirm that broken screens can often cause backlight issues. Before you even suggested it, I had already predicted a backlighter filter near the LVDS connector. Good stuff man. Big fan from Fiji. 🇫🇯 I watch your repair videos while I work on repairs myself. I'm no where near your level of troubleshooting and repairs but I'm learning and working on my own stuff like repairing old headphones and gaming controllers.

Notice as u try old screen it took longer than expectations to start.
So I believe the new screen just wasn't given long enough time to post🤷🏼

Everytime you remove the battery and reinstall it, it will take time to boot because there is no separate bios battery.

In this check 1/ filter 2 fuse 18v 3/ signal power 3, 3v 4/power on voltage 3.3v ... Dont disconnect screen it is power adapter its plag on pc or battery... Manu lines connect stait on GPU and IO .. if accident in time to colect or disconnect screen below up the GPU or IO ( gpu is grafics cart ) sorry for my English.... People who don't know to disconnect a battery first yet feel confident they can replace laptop screens.. I have built many of my own desktop PC's and would not attempt a screen replacement myself, you just know something will break or you do something wrong that some youtube guide 'forgot' to mention.

New laptops and desktops take a very long time when the Cmos is cleared, it wasn't the case before, it's like their post test is very slow especially when they load the bios with so many features

When i change my HP laptop screen take around about 5 minuts to show image and several restarts. I change from 720 to full HD screen and everything was ok. Great video.
