I got to meet Brian back in 2007 and he was just absolutely lovely!! I'll never forget how he smiled at me and just how he radiated warmth and positivity. He's wonderful. 🥰

The man with an angelic voice and he also plays a mean guitar. Was lucky enough to see them play live in Melbourne about 6-7 years ago. Brian was very ill at the time and the whole crowd could see and feel how crooked he was. He tried so hard to get through the show but unfortunately he was too unwell to continue.
However, there was so much love in the room for him because the whole crowd were so appreciative of the huge effort he put in to make it through. I really hope to see them play live again.
It was so lovely to finally seeing them live after watching the Live in Paris DVD my dad bought for me not too long before he past.
Placebo will always hold a special place in my heart and music collection.

Whether you agree with my classification or not, when I look back on the 'Emo' era of music, Placebo always comes to mind as the one band that actually had real talent and real song-writing ability.

The song 'Ask For Answers' has been floating around on various playlists of mine for literally decades now. 36 Degrees is another one I love. The whole 'Without You I'm Nothing' album was cool. They had legit talent amongst a backdrop of lowest-common-denominator 'Emo' music.
