reminds me of this time I was fighting Shima Sakon in the Abyss in Nioh 1 and his projectile guardian spirit attack and it did this insane right angle tracking and one-shot me.

was playing co-op with one of my friends and otakemaru pretty much did this to us as soon as we loaded into the boss fight😂 we couldn't help but just start laughing

I'm surprised you even highlighted this. 😅. It's super dreadful. Sometimes when I played depths in COOP, doing 3 bosses per floor. After one of the bosses dies, this F'r spawns in, and I'm over here managing my items non chantly, giving myself buffs, only for him to delete me.


😂It gives a really bad impression to my team. Like setting up that's it's going to be a long battle full of KO's.

Exhibit A on why Honda is the only human enemy I absolutely HATE fighting. He is the only one who can pull that particular breed of BS. Kukai is a close second, just because of the BSness that is his second phase.

They went way to heavy on projectiles in this game. Every single enemy has a projectile move. It feels pointless trying to learn combos and shit in this one because you just get shot from all over the place every 2 seconds. The first game is amazing but all the projectiles takes most of the fun out of 2 for me.

Slightly related to this video, but I loved seeing reaction of new players getting into the Honda's mission.

The old dude with funny armor that you rescued in main story mission. Nobody expected his spear thrust. It's absolutely hilarious every single time. 😂

I LOVE fighting Honda, dude! I love getting double tapped into a coma unless I devote the entire build towards durability!

(Honestly though, he's not my least favorite boss in this game. I think that still goes to the "This's what you could be if you invested into unironic offensive onmyo" guy with the odachi. I should check the modding scene for this game and see if there's an improved onmyo mod out. Or one that lets you learn his skills.)
