great video, I got some of this a few days ago and will use it soon. it's nice to see a thorough video of your experiment so that I can avoid some of the inevitable rookie mistakes of the first few attempts

Congratulations on your very impressive results, Uncle Jessy. This product reminded me of a two-part clear coat that my wife used several years ago on the top of a stool to protect some images that she painted on the stool. When she used this coating material, she made a sort-of 'bed-of-nails' drying platform for the coated parts. This platform consisted of a piece of board that she banged a bunch of finishing nails into. After she put the two-part clear coat on a part, she could place it on top of this 'bed-of-nails' and the excess coating could simply drip off the coated parts.

How do the finished parts look painted. I'm going to use acrylic paint, would that be ok?

Got a question for the world. I just finished 1.5 weeks of printing all the parts for a WALL-E with my Ender 3 Pro. I've post processed a ton of helmets and swords, which is usually A LOT of The idea of doing that with WALL-E sounds horrible. Leaving layer lines would make me cry. I actually think WALL-E would look good a bit "melty", but it could backfire. I guess the question is "suck it up and sand wimp" or "roll the dice".

dunno if it will work for the XTC, but hitting some epoxies with a heat gun while it is still wet will get bubbles to rise to the surface and pop.

Does the surface become impermeable to water after coating? My print has gaps between threads

I wonder if you could spray this through a air gun, then clean it?

I just printed the golden idol from Raiders of the Lost Ark and I'm gonna use this to finish it then I'm thinking of gold leafing it. Any tips/ tricks to maybe make the whole process easier?

I'm not sure if you could answer this for me. I have a model that has a scaly texture on it. Will this stuff ruin texture? I'm making a video of my model that I could show you so maybe you could give me an answer. Thanks man!

This is hard to find in Australia. Is there a reason I shouldn't try just average epoxy resin for the same purpose? I will certainly cost me less than importing this.

so whats the difference between this and regular epoxy?

Is the brush good for only one coating? What size is the brush you used?

anyone has any idea about the safety (especially for children) of the coated products? i am almost sure that PLA prints are really safe for children. does xtc 3d bring any risk to the picture when we are making custom toys for 7-10 year olds.
