Amazing! Backup camera treated with Ditec!

My backup camera has been treated with Ditec Ceramic Ultra. And even after driving 800 km/500 mi in Norwegian winter with snow, salt and Schmutz, the camera is still amazingly clean!

A complaint I have ALL WINTER in Canada on my Mercedes with a backup cam. My mother's sedan doesn't seem to attract as much Schmutz, but the hatchback I drive CONSTANTLY has an issue. The rest of the car I don't mind as much (it is winter after all) but I want some of this stuff on the backup cam so I don't have to clean it daily.

Impressed with the ceramic coating by Ditec. I have used a similar product a nanotech hydrophobic product from Europe called Ceracoat Ceramics and I am disappointed with it's performance. Cheers, John ;)

JLR have fitted washer jets for the rear view cameras. Not tried it myself, others have retracting cameras which I think is better however the mechanism is more prone to failure.

What about screen protector for the camera. Peel it off and replace when dirty or damaged. At least you wont scratch the lens when cleaning it. Just the protector.
