How Good is TURKISH AIRLINES Now? (A330 Economy Review)

Today, I am flying from Brussels to Istanbul on Turkish’s A330. In this Turkish Airlines economy review, I’ll showcase every part of the experience and share my opinion on whether Turkish is really as good as people say.

I've just returned from the UK (Manchester) with Turkish Airlines economy class, via Istanbul to Cape Town South Africa - very satisfied, good food, friendly hostesses, and easy passport control. My flight from Cape Town via Istanbul, with a Boeing 787 was just as good👍

I couldn't agree more. Turkish Airlines puts the rest of the European airlines to shame. Where else could you get a shorter trip with a full meal?

10/10 for the review. Flew Turkish from Toronto to IST a few years ago on the 777, and it was great. Tasty food, an amenity kit in economy, and a great IFE. Also the cabin crew members were much friendlier than on US airlines. The only big downside is transiting at IST which always takes ages.

Just as importantly they give you free 23KG baggage allowance.
What other airline in Europe gives you that.

It’s incredible with Turkish Long haul planes on short haul. 3 times daily they fly to Berlin by A330 and some other flights with A321 and B737. Sometimes we get the A350 or the B777

I did not know until I looked it up that Efes beer was named after the city Ephesus in Turkey.

I flew in April, paid for our seats and they changed them and didnt want to refund.
Then in June my daughter flew to Dar es saleem conecting in Istanbul with Turkish all in the same airline. Unfortunately a passenger has an emergency and the plane stop in Rome, she lost the conection and nobody from Turkish Airlines could resolve her problem easy, after 9 hour they changed to Ethiopian Airlines, and when she arrived her destination, Turkish didnt put on board her bag, after 2 days she received it, and they dont want to take responsability of anything.
The meals are good, the plane very comfy, but the agents who works at Costumer service dont treat people well and is difficult to communicate.

I have bad experience with Turkish airlines i was flew from SFO to Addis Via Istanbul. If i was landed in Istanbul no one helps me to get my connection aircraft to Addis & lost alot of staffs those staffs was new & covered with plastic. I have not such experience with other airlines.

IST Airport puts every single European airport to shame. Just flew in and out of that in the past month, everything is new & shining whereas the European ones look very old and outdated, can't even be in the same conversation. Very disappointed of the Brussels Airport too, it looks worse than those in third world countries.
