My family ran a gun store back in the 70's and there was always a background check when customers bought a gun, this notion that I can get a gun from a gun store and just walk out with it, is ridiculous, and it's been that way for a very long time.

Yeah no thanks. I’d suggest enforcement of the existing gun laws and holding criminals accountable. Nothing they are suggesting will help anything.

I find it fascinating that these marches just pop up so swiftly and automatically with all the printed banners and tents, etc. As if it were planned months in advance. Anything organic never looks this well organized. Especially with all the shortages of everything.

We didn't have background checks for gun until the 1990's, we didn't ban machine guns until the 80's...Why are these events more common now compared to back when it was easier to get a gun?

Taking guns away from law abiding citizens literally does nothing since the overwhelming majority of gun crime is committed with firearms that are illegally obtained.
