Video very helpful. I decided to buy 2x3 board not a 2x4 at hardware store and cut at 32inch they will fit perfect in track in between the foam and is a flat finish. So I did not have to take track apart. it actually looks good and nothing falls inside track.

i will never understand why Kia couldn't make these seats removable like some of the other minivans. It just makes no sense to me. This was the ONLY reason I did not want to buy a Kia sedona but I ended up getting one as I could not find a Honda or Sienna I could afford. So THANK YOU for this video. I probably could have figured it out on my own, but your video makes it much easier.

Thank You. Been looking on how to this for some time. However after reading your video 1 and 2 I think my modified way is an improvement. Slide seats back. Remove T55 bolts on front. Push seat forward and pull 2 each T55 \; on rear. Then lift whole assembly out and set on rug or towel or something. Take out two screws and plastic on either end of both rail assemblies. Hammer out press fit thing on same side. Hole seat adjustment and whole assembly pulls out. Replace the press thing and plastic cover with two screws. Saved my back a little work. Took me about 1/2 hour. I'm 80 with a bad back.

Procedure works for an Australian delivered 2015 New Carnival Si. I used a metric 14mm socket to remove the hex bolts - otherwise all the same.

Nice flat floor - time to fit some cabinets that will lock into the (now empty) factory floor runners.

I couldn't remove the star screws so I sprayed some rust buster stuff on them. Then I used a hollow metal pole to work as a lever over the socket wrench arm and slowly pushed it forward with my knees...worked like a charm.

I'd be satisfied at 2:04. The only drawback for this minivan is not "so easy" removable/fold into floor second row seat and somewhat less competitive fuel economy. Reliability and build quality for this minivan is among the best if not the best, fit and finish is far better than Toyota Sienna and Dodge Grand Caravan.
