Fragrance Du Bois is a luxury perfume house born from the richest essences of nature, and crafted by fifth generation perfumers from the 17th Century French tradition of Grasse.

At the heart of all Fragrance Du Bois’ creations is their signature Oud that exudes the ultimate in luxury, being both distinctive and unique. Oud is derived from the dark resinous wood of the Aquilaria tree, and the resin occurs in less than 7% of the trees in the wild. Pure Oud is therefore extremely precious, and due to illegal logging, wild resources have been severely depleted. Since 2004, all species of the Aquilaria tree have been protected under the CITES convention.

All fragrances contain 100% pure, sustainable Oud, managed on the Fragrance Du Bois plantations, guaranteeing to be ethically sourced and certified by CITES.

I bought a sample pack from The brand’s website and they are truly beautiful but I was very disappointed in the projection & longevity of all 5 of the samples. The price is waaaay to high to not fill the room when you walk in but not even close to that type of projection with my experience. Sits very close to the skin and only last a few short hours. Beautifully done and no doubt the quality of the ingredients is very high but for me, you gotta deliver on everything with that price point. I’ll enjoy wearing my samples but no full bottle in my future. Thanks for the review & introducing me to the brand!! BTW... I got my Navitus Discovery #2 set over the weekend... Love it!! 😍 I sent a review via email on the Navitus website. All 3 fragrances are beautifully done from top to bottom!! 🔥Very impressed!!

Over the years of watching Steven I've developed a little system that has introduced me to some real gems... Steven being one of my all time favorite reviewers, the one who actually got me into collecting niche frags, so his opinion is something I take very seriously... But whenever Steven compares a note to another brands take on that note, for instance, in this video, he's reminded of ''the cardamom in Chi by Barutti." How much? $430 dollars for a 50 mL bottle? That's some serious cash right there but it's good. The more expensive niche brands have superb quality and ingredients in the juice. Luckyscent is a great choice to buy or sample niche fragrances. I love going to their boutique store once a month and getting my nose on new releases as other houses. Nice review, Steven.

Steven: My Friend From Jersey, yes indeed👏🏼👌🏼-a fabulous fabulous intro this House and I must say, you left me salivating 4 more Sir! Right now, there are 3 Niche Houses that I’m ABSOLUTELY CAPTIVATED BY and it’s my goal to sample/try & DEFINITELY BUY a few of their offerings! The problem? NEVER smelled anything from these houses, but the hype in the fragcomm is palpable! Thameen, Atelier des Ors & Fragrance Du Bois....! Just based solely on what I’ve read and heard thus far, I might even blind buy {Iris Fauve, Oud Vert Intense, Oud Orange Intense, Oud Blue Intense, London Oud, Green Pearl & Patiala!
