Hello Jeff. I bought on your suggestion the three tool DeWalt woodwork kit at Lowe's. On thing you neglected to report was the bag that came with the kit. Not like the other cheap ones on my previous buys. This was a solid bag 2 to 3 times the thickness of the others with tool pockets all-around the exterior and interior. Great bag.

Last night I saw the Skil worm drive table saw for $399 at my HD store. It’s $579 online. Don’t know if it’s going away but it was yellow tagged in its normal spot.

I was just wondering if these are the top quality tools (which I doubt), or the cheaper versions. I watched a video once of someone buying a box of Dewalt assortment of tools on sale, only later to discover they were not the regular high quality ones but instead were cheaper versions of them.

Interesting. That Bosch deal has been going on all year and expired in August. They must have extended it. I hope Bosch starts putting out more 18V tools In the U.S. soon. I have nearly everything from Lowes. They need to give us the cordless palm sander and bring back the right angle drill. I never got one before everyone stopped stocking them.
