What Wild Food Can We Find in March? UK Foraging

preview_player
Показать описание
Join me for a stroll around the woodland behind my allotment garden, there is lots to be found this time of year; from fresh buds, shoots and flowers, to spring greens... and lots of wild garlic!

Please remember to never eat any wild food, be it plant, fruit or fungi, unless you are 100% certain of its identity and always cross check your resources. Always do research before taking herbs internally, especially if you are pregnant, have severe allergies or a weakened immune system. Finally, remember to take only what you need from places of abundance, and always leave plenty for the wildlife too.

If you’d like to follow along for more foraging and forest garden content, you can join me over on all the socials @danniinthewild

Thanks for watching!

I love this time of year when everything is waking up.

🤣🤣🤣 We had to play the end back to work out why the video ended so abruptly 🤣 Think I must have trampled on the little patches of wild garlic in our Food Forest! I've been trying for about 3 or 4 years to get going and haven't spotted it yet this year, which is a a shame as they had come on a bit last year! ✌🌿

You and Chris out badger baiting for the day? Those wood ears are delicious with some ginger, garlic, grated carrot, soy sauce and toasted sesame oil and a hint of chilli on rice.

It would be great to have the sound level balanced between parts of the video. Now it sounds like shouting in the face intermingled with indistinct murmuring and one has to adjust the volume all the time

So you tell everyone not to walk on the ramsons but then you go and trample on them all to pick a flower 🤔 the worst thing about YouTubers is telling people what to and not to do. I used to like your channel what a shame.
