We chose to hike to Machu Picchu instead of taking the easier and direct train or bus which were not adventurous enough. Only thing was that it took 5 days through the Peruvian Andes.

I'm Liisu, a 27 year-old doctor from Estonia and in December 2021 I quit my job to travel the world with Joe, my partner.

Your story is so amazing. I’m 21 and I am flying to Peru from Toronto in august to do the salkantay trek. It looks so physically demanding but that’s the challenge. Im going to be on the stair master for the next 2 months to prepare lol!
