Passing the Baton

With your help, God has been faithful and has done many amazing things through MercyWorks over the past 25 years. We stand in awe of Him and have some exciting changes to share with you.

Beginning last year, I felt God wanted to multiply mercy ministry locally and internationally to reach more people with the love of Jesus. After much prayer and godly counsel, I am beginning a new non-profit organization called Love Mercy International (LMI).
 
As the name indicates, Love Mercy International will continue ministering abroad in places like Poland, Ukraine and other countries and will also minister to at-risk youth in our community in East Texas. (We’ve been working with needy families locally, and it has been wonderful to see the transformation God has brought into their lives).
 
As of March 15, 2023, Kim Klepp became the new Director of MercyWorks, and I will be the Founder and Director of Love Mercy International. Kim and I have worked closely since 2018. She and her family serve with MercyWorks at Youth With A Mission Tyler. Kim seeks the Lord, has impeccable integrity, is capable, and will do a great job moving MercyWorks forward.

MercyWorks will continue as a ministry of YWAM Tyler. Love Mercy International will be its own 501c3 non-profit organization. As such, it will be a separate YWAM ministry.
 
Some MercyWorks missionary staff will join Love Mercy International; some will continue growing MercyWorks. Both entities will collaborate as the Lord leads, while some projects will be unique to one ministry or the other. I hope you will continue working with MercyWorks and you will also consider partnering with this new expression of God’s love and mercy, Love Mercy International. (LMI).
