Jessie, you are a beautiful voice that manages to shine through an entire internet of chaos, and better people's days with your perspectives, jokes, explanations, rants, and everything else you do. 20 000 may seem small comparing yourself to wider YouTube culture, but that means 20 000 people, from whatever walk of life, have had their days improved by watching you, and stand behind you in all your endeavors, even separated by the chasm of the internet. It's not the same as knowing all of us personally, but for many of us, it feels that way. Your videos are a constant reminder of of the good in this world, and more specifically, the good in the star trek fandom, which sometimes looks a little ugly. While you tear up thanking all of us, we have to thank you right back. Thank you for being you 🖖♥️

I have a habit of investigating anything Trek that appears in my YouTube feed. I discovered you like that, but let me be honest. It's not the Trek that makes me keep returning to your channel. You hit the nail on the head, these are indeed tumultuous times. I don't have people who are passionate about their beliefs or show anything but apathy regarding the world we have found ourselves in. Day by day it gets more evident that something has to change and we are the instruments of that change. You possess qualities that I come here to be reminded that there are other's out there who care about what happens outside our locked doors and closed blinds. That the not so subtle attempts to crush any identity that doesn't conform to either left or right are just that, "attempts". You motivate and inspire me and I often return to watch certain segments again. In short just to be reminded that someone like you exists, and if you can remain so open, and pursue optimism than so can I. I won't be intimidated because my internal rhetoric isn't heard, it's there for me to move ahead and cling to the belief that this place we live in can be fixed, healed and ultimately put back on course towards a future for all of us. Take care and congratulations on 20K, you deserve it.
