In this video, we're going to be building a wireless robot car that uses mecanum wheels to enable omnidirectional movement. We'll be using the Quantum Integration system to provide wireless control of the car using a custom joystick controller.

Really great kit. I love it. perfect for students and teaching kids the "Basics" Just wish some of the kits were available locally here in S.A.

Really NICE build! I just received "Scout", a Kickstarter funded AI vehicle, also with mecanum wheels. I was surprised at how poor the traction was, as well as inability to drive over minor obstacles like a 3/4" high wood threshold between 2 rooms. So I'm curious if your vehicle handles more challenging terrain than say the tiled floor in the video? I suspect part of Scout's traction issues is that the wheelbase was so short (about 1/2" gap between tires). Anyway, regardless of your vehicle's traction, this was a great build!!
