Almost all these comments are negative so I guess I’ll say this, ToT has no doubt had a rough first year in existence, but I know that the entire dev team cares a lot about creature capturing as a genre and I trust you guys to make a game that, not only creature capturing fans will love, but a more general audience inside Roblox. :)

I have been very hyped for Tales of Tanorio, and had fun playing the early game. However, before I even got to the first gym, lag was starting to become a huge turning point for me, so hopefully, this new overhaul will fix this and I can return to having fun. Ion gonna lie on day one when a bug patch rolled out i was on a shiny notent encounter and lost it. Closed the game and never looked back

I would love to enjoy, play, and support this game but I (belive) i found a bug that made it so unbelievably unenjoyable. Where one voice line would play then suddenly pause for a long period of time (a LONG time, most over a minute of waiting) then play the next line, and pause again where the npc would just stare blankly and id continue to wait. Again, i would LOVE to play the game and continue its story, i wish yall the best of luck

I think the main thing that put me off during release was how unpolished the game was. The animations were lackluster, a lot of things were janky, a whole lot of bugs and more. The battles were what bugged me the most. The battle camera was really bad because the Tanorians are positioned all the way at the corner of the screen and it was also very zoomed out. There were also little to no sound effects and attack animations which I expected to be at launch because that is literally the bare minimum you could do in a game like this.

The sprites are also a bit jarring to look at because they all vary in terms of quality. On one hand you got a pretty good sprite, and on the other, the sprite looks like it was made by an entirely different person. The way the UI functioned was also pretty weird, especially in the pc boxes. The lighting was another thing I had a problem with, sometimes it would just be way too dark during night time which was odd. The gameplay was also a bit annoying to me because trainer battles happened way too frequently, and there were too many of them in a single route.

There are more things I want to mention but I feel like that's way too much negativity. I'm not sure if some of these complaints were already acknowledged in past updates, but if they weren't, then that's a shame.

This game has a lot of potential and it sucks too that it pretty much flopped. I do hope you guys get back on your feet and strive to make this game greater than it is though 😁

Honestly no one is perfect and despite the several bugs I never really gave up all hope on the game
I believe it can get better and capture not just tanorians, but a bigger audience.

- bugs (especially on mobile where a lot of people play roblox from)
- no life into most of the designs and models ( this is just my opinion)
- no trading, pvp or breeding ( ik there being added)
- devs giving false release dates especially a problem early into a games release
- story still lackluster even after the third gym so some people dont even play the story updates( ik its probably gonna improve)

Those are the reasons i can think off the top of my head.

It’s kinda crazy that the Pokémon brick bronze games have more players than tales of tanorio and Ioomian legacy

I don't mean to be a jerk dude, but if you fix the double battle bug, you would have a lot longer lasting players as in the second route, there is a softlock for people with only 1 tanorian .

When I first sat down to play ToT (during Alpha labs updates and right before Makoto, so recently), I actually had a ton of fun and was pretty invested in the game. I binged the entire story up to Makoto’s update wall and quit for the night, then pretty much waited for Makoto to come out. Once Makoto came out and I hopped on a couple days after, I felt pretty disappointed with the amount of bugs and confusion I faced. My quest log was always a mission ahead so I really had no idea what I was doing, and it wasn’t as engaging as it had been before. I think the game has huge opportunity, and I’m excited to see what ToT has to offer in the future!! I hope that the devs will take the bug problem into consideration and begin to patch all these holes in the game’s performance and make it a seamless and immersive experience!!

i see all these people talking about bugs and shit and thats why the game died, which isnt rlly true tbh. I've talked with so many people and have heard and seen many people talk more about how there's a lack of content rather than the bugs.

3:17 the map already looked amazing and beautiful u need to sort the models
