In this content you will learn how to create a simple to-do list app. This application is a beginner level application. This app uses local storage to save to-dos. the split screen should be horizontal. a lot of the codes are cropped off and makes it harder to follow

Thanks for this. Great pratice to try and re-create. However for some reason no text appears in my tasks. Everything works, I can type in the textbox and enter, a new task appears which I can check as if completed, it just doesnt contain any text.

Is there a specific reason that you use innerHtml to create an element rather using createElement()? I know its convenient if there are many child elements since we can finish it with a line, but I heard there's a problem related to events if we use innerHtml. So, I always used createElement and appendChild, which was very annoying. I want to know what you think about this.
