Steps to Transferring Funds Between Checking & Savings:

➡️ Transferring Funds

Go up to “Banking”
“Transfer Funds”
“Date”
“Transfer Funds From”
“Transfer Funds To”
“Transfer Amount”
“Memo”
Click “Save & Close”
“Items not assigned Classes’ screen will show up
Click “Save Anyway”

➡️ Check Register

“Use Register”
“Select Account”
Click “OK”
You’ll see the transferred money
**You can also use the check register to transfer money

Morning Candus, Writing a check to transfer funds from one bank to another. 2 questions: First, if I write a check to my Company name from the checking account to the savings account of another bank, do I still need to do a bank transfer in QB? Second, Should the check be written to the company, the bank, or who? I used to write the check to me then I deposited it to the other bank account but that feels unsafe or inappropriate.
