Animusic really has aged pretty well, for something that came out 20 years ago. Most CGI animation of that era wished it looked like Animusic.

2:40 is my absolute favoritest moment of the animusic series like so profound it's a tattoo i'm planning to get. ever since i saw this the first time when was 5 i thought it was so beautiful it made me teary, like... red and purple are best friends, or maybe theyre in love, theyre some sort of soulmates, singing into the stars together. my eyes are getting wet typing it out lmao like this silly little thought has been in my head for 20 years and i do not ever see that shot of the lasers without crying a little. idk, this seemed like the one appropriate place to share that thought. ❤️💜

I saw this one on PBS in the 2000s, and was the very first Animusic video I ever saw. When I watched it again here on YouTube some years later, I realized that watching on a standard definition TV set didn’t do it justice.
